ANGELIC ORDERS The following Article describes the Angelic Orders. There are many schemes that have been developed through the ages. These schemes can vary greatly. Beyond personal magical investigation, there is really no way to determine if Crowley was any more correct than Levi ! The Kabballah only establishes a framework that we can use for identifying the Structure of Creation. Most Scholars and Adepts agree for the most part with the basic framework. The placement of the Archangels, Angels and Choirs of Angels within the framework is a different question. There are more schemes than you can shake a stick at !!!!! The Mage presents this information as a general but accurate guide to the Holy Angelic Orders. The Seven Heavens: First Heaven: Gabriel Second Heaven: Zachariel and Raphael Third Heaven: Jabniel, Rabacyel, Dalquiel Fourth Heaven: Michael Fifth Heaven: Sandelphon, Sammael Sixth Heaven: Zachiel (chief), Seventh Heaven: Cassiel THE NINE ORDERS: SERAPHIM: Metatron, Michael, Uriel, Jehoel, Nathanael, Satan (before the fall). The Seraphim are generally agreed to hold the highest rank among the Angelic Orders. These are the Angels of Light and Love. These Angels surround the Throne of Glory singing "Holy Holy Holy" eternally and unceasingly. This high Order of Angels rule in the Spiritual world. Their nature is that of Spiritual Fire, and they rule that Element. It is difficult to determine exactly the Ruling Prince of the Order. The Realm of the Seraphim Is scarcely possible to conceive to the Human mind. The Psychic Tech feels that Metatron would be the Ruler. See Archangels for particulars of Metatron. It is indeed possible to make a case for Michael, Uriel, Jehoel or Seraphiel. It would seem that Satan must at one time have ruled the Seraphim prior to his Fall. Satan was "First Created" and so would have Ruled by default. Other Seraphim defected as a result of the rebellion. The Seraphim have been considered the "Fiery Serpents" that punished the Hebrews during the Exodus. The Revelation of Moses speaks of a Seraphim of six wings.
